Prawns Roast

Ingredients:
Prawns: 1 kg
Onion chopped: 2 medium
Green chilli: 2 nos
Garlic: 11/2 tbsp
Ginger: 1 1/2 tbsp
Tomato: 1 medium
Coriander powder: 1 tbsp
Chilli powder: 1/2 tbsp
Pepper powder: 3/4 tbsp
Fennel seed powder: 1 tsp
Garam masala powder: 1 tsp
Turmeric powder: 1 tsp
Salt: to taste
Vinegar: 1/2 tbsp

For marinade:
Chilli powder: 1/2 tbsp
Ginger powder: 1 tsp
Pepper powder: 1/4 tbsp
Garlic powder: 1 tsp
Salt: to taste
Lemon juice: 1/2 tbsp

Method:
Wash and clean prwans. Combine chilli powder, ginger and garlic powder, pepper powder, salt with lemon juice and apply this marinade on the prawns, Keep aside for 1/2 hr. Heat oil in a pan, shallow fry both sides and keep aside.

In the same pan, add ginger, garlic and greenchilli, fry for 2-3 minutes. Add onion, fry till soft. Add tomato, saute well till the oil seperates. Then add pepper powder, garam masala, fennel seed powder, turmeric powder, redchilli powder and coriander powder, Saute well till the raw smell goes. Add the fried prawns, vinegar and 1/4 cup water to this, Reduce the heat to low, Close the lid and cook for 05-10 minutes or till the gravy turns thick. Serve hot
